Where the mountains meet the sea

 

Camden Rockport  Elementary  School,

grade 3, 2017-2018

 

The deep, protected harbors of Camden and Rockport have been a haven for boating and shipbuilding since the 1800's. Students heard about family life running  a lighthouse on Curtis island, the local  lime kiln operation and the anchor factory. And did you know Andre the seal was named Honorary Harbormaster?
