Stories from Charlotte

Charlotte Elementary  School, grades preK-8, 2016

At this small, multi-age school, students from preK to 8th grade worked together to craft mural and performance. One story that featured in both was about the Charlotte Pound, where stray animals were kept for a fee, and farmers occasionally snuck in at night to reclaim their wandering pigs and cows. Charlotte students performed onstage for their neighboring elementary school at the Eastport Arts Center.
